It's easy to give up when we're so close to the halfway point of the semester. There's nothing less motivating than having a break approaching because, for some reason, we want a break right now.  

That's why I love this quote! It reminds me what it means to do something well, with determination and discipline.  It reminds me that we're not on break yet and that we're here to learn. 

So here's some Thoreau advice on finishing well what you have started:

"All endeavor calls for the ability to tramp the last mile, shape the last plan, endure the last hour's toil. The fight to the finish spirit is the one characteristic we must possess if we are to face the future as finishers."

        You can do it! Run the last mile so you can be proud of yourself.
